Virtumonde Catastrophe

Hello,

My Spybot scan told me to come talk to you folks. My Dell Inspirion 5100 laptop (Along with overheating) has contracted 2 types of virtumonde. I am running XP Professional with avast! protection. The newest version of Spybot shows multiple entries of the virus. While connected to the internet, I'm hit with an array of ads. System restore and Windows Updates have also disabled by the virus. Spybot finds and deletes virus in safemode, but the virus restores itself on reboot. Ad-aware finds nothing.

I know y'all are very busy, but I need to kill this virtumonde thing. I'm a graduate student and my laptop is my lifeblood. I read a few other threats here and it appears Malwarebytes is performing well. I'll try that, too.
