It says that Beta 2.0 has a feature which blocks potentially harmful websites, so I was wondering, will it only be used in Chrome, or would it be added to Firefox and IE as well. Thanks for your time

It's already used in Internet Explorer, Opera, and Firefox

Quote from http://forums.spybot.info/vbglossar....howentry&id=12 and http://forums.spybot.info/vbglossar....showentry&id=2 :
Opera: Spybot-S&Ds Immunization is able to immunize Opera browsers.
Firefox: Spybot-S&Ds Immunization is able to immunize Firefox browsers. Portable editions are supported starting with Spybot-S&D 2.0.
(However, it might be that the immunization-system is able to immunize Opera and Firefox, but it's not added.)

This is getting confusing, I'm talking about the image on the homepage where it shows Spybot blocking a URL.
The screenshot that you mean shows the SDChrome extension, an add-on for Chrome like SDHelper is for IE. On Firefox i think only immunization is available. Still i am yet not sure how the "firewall" works, and on old version: http://www.safer-networking.org/en/faq/48.html
