Unhappy Conduit Toolbar Remnants in RunDLL form

So my Acer Aspire V3 contracted the Conduit Toolbar malware

upon starting up the computer, an error message appears title, RunDLL, and reading, There was a problem starting C:\Program Files(x86)\Conduit\CT3298573\plugins

I found a thread on here helping someone else get id of it so I followed those steps.

To my great displeasure, it didn't work.

So I'm seeing if I can give logs and follow steps given to get rid of this RunDLL message.

Ken545 assisted the other user with this problem if that is helpful.

    heres the other thread.

Now also around step 5 where it said

    Go here and delete this
    C:\Program Files(x86)\Conduit<-------

My laptop refuses to let me insisting a program is using it but not telling me what, so help for that as well when its time for that step.

Please and thank you for the help.

    Hello tvolcom322,

    • Note that all instructions given are customized for that member's personal computer only, the tools used may cause damage if run on a machine with different specs/infections. Please do not take fixes given to another user and apply to your own machine.
Please see that FAQ which includes guidelines for this forum in post #1 and instructions in post #2 on how to provide the preliminary DDS and aswMBR logs used for analysis.

Then start a new topic providing the logs, a volunteer analyst will advise when available.

    Best regards.
