Spybot says I'm not an admin, but I am. Please help

Right-click on the shortcut and choose "Run as administrator"

I believe you can only do that if you actually are an admin; the idea, however, is that unless you do that, the program will have more limited privileges, and most programs (like your web browser and office suite) don't need admin privileges and are more secure without them.

How about right clicking the actual spybot program located in the program files, select properties and give your user full control and administrator access. ;P
