I'm having some trouble running the ESET. I stopped the scan last night and went to bed, then tried to restart it this morning, and I get an error message that says "Unexpected error 3" and it does nothing more. So I reinstalled ESET from the internet, and tried running it from the new installation and again it gives me the same error message with no other buttons to press. What do I do next?
I don't think it completely uninstalled,
Go to add/remove programs, look for it and uninstall if found.
Now, open task manager (right click on bottom tool bar) then click on Show processes from all users
Scroll and look for the Eset file. If running, right click on the service to 'end task'
then try again.

It's not in my Programs and Features nor in my processes in Task Manager. Tried again and still got the same error.

I ran the F-Secure Online and after it completed, it said "No harmful items found". It didn't give me any other options other than to go to the internet and try their software. So then I ran Bitdefender and got he same result "You're Good to Go, No Active Viruses Found".
I really want that ESET to work because there was a bunch of stuff that was starting to come up in red. What else can I do to get it to start again?
It's very possible Eset was finding items already held in quarantine.....
Please Run TFC by OldTimer to clear temporary files:
TFC by OldTimer and save it to your desktop.
Close any open programs and Internet browsers.
Double click TFC.exe to run it on XP (for Vista and Windows 7 right click and choose "Run as administrator") and once it opens click on the Start button on the lower left of the program to allow it to begin cleaning.
Please be patient as clearing out temp files may take a while.
Once it completes you may be prompted to restart your computer, please do so.
Once it's finished you may delete TFC.exe from your desktop or save it for later use for the cleaning of temporary files.

If you have other antivirus, antispyware or anti-malware programs running on your computer, they may intercept the scan being performed by the ESET Online Scanner and hinder performance. You may wish to disable the real-time protection components of your other security software before running the ESET Online Scanner. Remember to turn them back on after you are finished.
You can get help on disabling your protection programs here
If you are running the ESET Online Scanner from a downloaded .exe, visit the following web page to download the latest version:

Your not alone with Eset not running start to finish, we can try once more.
How is your computer now?

This time the ESET scan ran! But the instructions didn't say what to do once it's finished, there is a few words missing.
The instructions say "Upon completion, click . If no threats were found, skip the next two bullet points." It says I have 165 threats found. What do I click upon completion?
