    Hi there.

Please read up on these processes:

    motmon.exe

    taskmon.exe

What makes you believe you have specifically a 'CWS' infection?

    • Open SpyBot.
    • Check for problems.
    • When finished, right click and choose "copy results" (not the full report) to clipboard and post that into topic.

    spybot_S&D user:

Unless it is listed as a problem when the scan completes it is not a problem.

During the running of a Spybot scan ("Check for problems") the status bar in the lower left hand corner of the screen shows the following:
    • "Running bot-check(xxxxx/yyyyy:zzzzzz)" where:
      • xxxxx = Current check count.
      • yyyyy = Total check count.
      • zzzzz = Malware check being performed.

The zzzzz value it is the malware check being performed by Spybot not what is in you system.

Getting an answer is one thing, learning is another.
