    Default Spybot as antivirus

Can I imagine to use Spybot (home paid version)as only antivirus on computers running Windows 7 and 8 in replacement of others products like AVG ?
Is Spybt AV+ ok with email and virus coming from this way ?
    Regards.

Yes, and one anti virus program only should be resident on a computer.

"Live protection monitors every process created or running on your system and scans each process. Malicious processes are blocked even before they start. Both the antivirus and anti malware scanner engines provide ‘Live Protection’ by default. If you have another antivirus engine running you can choose to disable the one integrated into Spybot +AV.
Spybot +AV will hook into every process created on the system and allows the user to choose to allow or suppress any of these processes."

And how does that work - turning off the AV?
Simply by turning off "Live Protection"?

    Thanks
