The message just says "error"? Which version of Spybot-S&D do you have installed and when were the definitions last updated.

Do you have other security software installed and what is the operating system please.

    Best regards.

    Hi alanfgriffin,

Did you elevate Administrator permissions before running the scan and trying to remove items flagged? Run as Administrator

    Best regards.

    Brilliant,
That solved my problem, will this work for anything that Spybot can't remove ordinarily ?
    Thanks for your help

If an item flagged is particularly stubborn running Spybot in safe mode might help as you'd have access to only basic files and drivers, whereas when the machine is operating in normal mode all processes are running.

Scanning in safe mode allows the program to try and remove items that keep reappearing after a scan, despite having been 'fixed'.

If none of that works feel free to post the issue in this forum.

    Best regards.
