Access violation

I am using free spybot. I recently tried to use immunization and received this message. "access violation of address 307A2113 in module sdwelcome.exe write of address 00000080". Then I couldn't close spybot without using task manager. I decided to remove it and down load a new version. The same thing happened. I am running windows vista. How can I fix this?

Also did you elevate Spybot's permissions: How can I get administrator rights?

Access Violation

Hi, I downloaded Spybot 2, but this also happened with the older version. I did not elevate any permissions. I don't know how you can get administrator rights?

Hello vivflo,

You must use an administrator account. Then, right-click the Spybot icon and select Run as Administrator.
