I just got through trying to get rid of a virus on my computer when I clicked on a link that lead to a weird site and it sent a virus there...and I thank SpyBot for denying a bunch of crap it tried to hack into but I just did a system restore and then I got this when it pulled back up:

System Startup Global Entry
Value Deleted
KernelFaultCheck

%systemroot%\system32\dumprep 0 -k

I just am all confused now @__@ please help

P.S sorry if this is in the wrong forum x.x

I don't know why you received that message when you did a system restore.

The startup entry that was deleted was for Dumprep.

Dumprep is used in connection with memory dumps. If a serious error occurs, Dumprep.exe writes the error details to a text file. The Dumprep.exe tool then prompts you to send the error information to Microsoft.

The startup entry is optional because the program will load when required if not loaded at system startup and if not loaded at system startup it will not use up any system resources until required.
