I can't remove AVG Anti-Virus, I'm new to this can somebody help me, something bad happened in the application, Thank You

This is not a malware problem, if you can't uninstall from add/remove programs, you probably have a corrupt/missing file in the AVG folder, this often happens after a system restore has been performed, where certain files have had their extensions renamed & need to be returned to what they should be.
Post in the AVG help forums, quoting any error message you get when trying to uninstall...
