with SB 2.0 just around the corner will there be an update to the boot CD as well?

The creator is loosely tied into the new Welcome screen already, and if we just had the slightest feedback from MS regarding the PE licenses for standalone CDs, we probably would have continued creating the new CD layout already :sad:
omg you still haven't got any feed back from ms yet it has been weeks. I would look into other companies that have got permission from ms to do that and see if they can help you.
Not weeks. Months! And we did that - but the contact received does no longer work at MS it seems.
Also, there are not many companies having licensed PE. I think in another thread there was a hint who else did though...

yes i know you did because i was in that post and that is what i was trying to say use outside sources.

If just ReactOS had proper registry hive handling... hmmm... anyone checked that recently?
