AVG is catching a virus, however it will not remove it. I believe I got it when I tried to install something I thought was ActiveX. Here is the information:

C:\Windows\system32\knqby.exe
Trojan horse Downloader.Generic.UEO

When I try to heal or move it to the vault it says:
"Requested action is not available for this object. Access to the file has been denied."

I seem to get popups now which makes me think it is more malware/spyware. I've run many, many test (avg, spybot, adaware, cwshredder, ewido, etc.) with no success. I've run tests in both normal and safe mode with no success.

The strangest thing is that when I search the net for this file I find nothing. Any help would greatly be appreciated!

Download and Save Blacklight to your desktop:

Double-click blbeta.exe then accept the agreement, click > scan then > next

You'll see a list of all items found. There will also be a log on your desktop with the name fsbl.xxxxxxx.log (the xxxxxxx stand for numbers).

Copy and paste this log in your next reply. Don't choose the rename option yet! I want to see the log first, because legitimate items can also be present there, such as "wbemtest.exe"

next: download findqool.zip from here

next unzip its contents to c:\FindQool
then open the folder, doubleclick on Qlocate.bat, once its finished a notepad window with text will open
copy/paste the contents of that window here
