My laptop is having major problems and I want to download Spybot. Right now, I can only open the laptop in safe mode. Can I download Spybot to a disc using my desktop, and install onto my laptop?
During the installation on the laptop ensure that you set so it doesn't look for updates during the installation, and also that teatimer and the IE browser helper are not made active - you can enable them from within the program later.
Once it has been installed on the laptop, run the updates file. You should then be able to scan you laptop without going on line.
