cannot delete file

i can't delete the file qomnl.dll

it's causing problems and is responsible for numerous trojans.

im also getting an error message on startup referring to this file.

can anyone help?

there are two messages. first is a 'desktop' message saying 'cannot run file....qomnl.dll'

then i get a run.dll message saying cannot find another file (sorry i forget the name) xxx.dll please remove from registry.

then windows explorer crashes and reloads.

i tried to delete the file because mcafee regularly reports trojans came from that file.

couldnt delete as it says another programme is running it, and in wondows defender it is the only file (in software explorer>startup programmes) that i cannot delete/enable/disable.

sorry, i am not very good with this kind of thing so please forgive my lack of knowledge
