Cannot Find & Destroy this???

Hello,

It appears my browser(s) have been hijacked.
I cannot access the net on one of my machines.
This affects both I.E. & FireFox.
When I open my browser I get a page error message
with this in the address bar:

res://shdoclc.dll/DNSERROR.HTM#

I have run SpyBot & AVG AntiSypware in regular & safe mode. I'm running Windows XP home edition

I cannot download any windows updates
Although I should be up to date because I update about twice a month.

Hello.

Sorry to hear of your problems, we could see a HJT log to determine if it is malware related.

As you have lost your connection on that machine you will need to do this:

• Download HJT to a clean PC if one is available.
  
• Put on media of choice (CD/Floppy/etc)
• Upload to infected machine
• Place HJT into own folder
• Run HJT on the infected PC and post the log you produce using the clean PC.
