"Cannot open AVI" error message

I have just downloaded S&D and i went to update it, but when i tried to install the update, i get the error message "Cannot open AVI". Why is this?

Do you have Vista Transformation Pack installed?
If so,there's a post on here telling how to get the integrated update to work,if you don't want to keep updating manually.If so,just post back.

If this was a new installation of Spybot and you never received the following updates:

• Detection support library - Detection support routines update (238 KB) - 2006-03-10
• Advanced detection library - Advanced detection routines update (87 KB) - 2006-03-10

You should also download and execute the following manual updates:

• Tools update 2006-03-31 - product description
  md5: 6A3F1779DDC2EBAADB65C086687DF4B3
  
  Only needed if you do not use the integrated update.
  
  
• Advanced check library update 2006-03-30 - product description
  md5: 73047D64714ECB9BD4A023E3A6EF4354
  
  This is an update for a detection library. Only needed if you do not want to use the update function integrated into Spybot-S&D.
