Can't access Internet except in Safe Mode

Hey all! The other day I came to the computer and I couldn't access the Internet. I switched to Safe Mode and am able to connect to IE. I can't figure out what the problem is. I have satellite Internet and this just happened out of the blue..as far as I know. My son MAY have done something withou me knowing it though. Please help and believe me, any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Hi Christy,

Download DDS and save it to your desktop from here or here or here.
Disable any script blocker, and then double click dds.scr to run the tool.
  • When done, DDS will open two (2) logs:
    1. DDS.txt
    2. Attach.txt
  • Save both reports to your desktop. Post them back to your topic.

Download GMER (click download exe -button there) and save it your desktop:
  • Double-click the .exe file you downloaded.
  • Click rootkit-tab and then scan.
  • Don't check
    Show All
    box while scanning in progress!
  • When scanning is ready, click Copy.
  • This copies log to clipboard
  • Post log in your reply.
