cmdservice

hi everyone,

I have been having an issue with Spybot S&D. As you will see from the attached image it is with regard to command service reg keys, S&D finds them but cannot fix them, I choose yes to a search and fix during boot but it doesn't help.

A recomended solution was to:

"download and unzip Ren-cmdservice to your desktop.
It will only work correctly if the folder is placed on your desktop and extracted.
http://downloads.subratam.org/Lon/ren-cmdservice.zip
Open the ren-cmdservice folder by doubleclicking it and then doubleclick the
ren-cmdservice.bat file to run the program."

However when I try this and doubleclick the
ren-cmdservice.bat file all I get is cmd prompt (dos black window with nothing happening).

anyone have any ideas, I have cleaned the machine recently of surfsidekick3 and just need to resolve the issue with cmdservice so I can go ahead with xp's sp2 and make the machine as secure as possible...
