Hi Jeff, first, if you had followed these directions, you would never have seen most of the stuff in the Kaspersky report:
Navigate to and delete all files in red. You may need safe mode to do this??
(first two, delete all files in the TIF folder) (not the folder)
C:\Documents and Settings\LocalService\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\ODAJCD6Z\XoftSpy_setup[1].exe/data0035
C:\Documents and Settings\LocalService\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\ODAJCD6Z\XoftSpy_setup[1].exe
C:\WINDOWS\DHU.exe/data0001 <<< file
C:\WINDOWS\pf78ba.exe/data0002 <<< file
C:\WINDOWS\WPRE.exe/data0004 <<< file
That should make your log spotless, you can run Kaspersky again if you wish to be sure.
any issues to mention?
If you have not done this, please make it a priority.System Restore does not know the good files from the bad. In case bad stuff has gotten into your System Restore files, follow the instructions in this link to get clean System Restore files. Turn it off, reboot then turn it back on:
