Can someone explain why I have about 20 websites listed in my firefox cookie exception window that I have not inputed myself. Many are not websites that I would ever visit myself? Help......

You mean the blocklist in Mozilla Firefox? Well that is the Immunization feature in Spybot-Search&Destroy. The goal is to provide you with protection in your browser, so putting entries in the cookies blocklist with prevent malicious cookies from getting on to your machine.
