CPU overheating issue

hi, im not sure if i can post it here but well im in need of some help.
Since yesterday my E6300 core 2 duo went nuts overheating my core temps are 70c idle i checked with Speedfan and in Bios got the same results.. any clue on whats going on?
 
Also i overclocked a few days ago but i undone it already and the temp kept rising, i took the cooler out clean it and put it back in place again it seems to be down to 49c on core 0 and 51c on core 1 . its lower but still a bit high any suggestions?

Did you also check for dust?
Make sure that the fans are running and that dust is cleared from any ventilation ports in the case.
The problem can happen in both desktops and laptops, although the problem is more prevalent in laptops.
If you have a desktop consider opening the case and checking to make sure the CPU heat sink is not too dusty.
