detection updates

I need to know how to install them manually. I have them all downloaded but I had to put them on a flash drive to put them on a laptop not connected to the network. How do I install them so I can run Spybot?

Does this all make sense?

Hello,

Copy these to a CD and then install and run it on the other computer:
Update file (run it after the installation): http://www.spybotupdates.com/updates/files/spybotsd_includes.exe

Thanks Sandra. That did the trick. I had to put them on a flash drive instead of a cd but that was what I needed.

It may also be prudent to update the Tools.dll and advcheck.dll files because they were updated since the installation program (spybotsd14.exe) for Spybot - Search & Destroy 1.4 was released. These updates can be found here:

• Tools update 2006-03-31 - product description

  Only needed if you do not use the integrated update.

  This is an update for a detection library. Only needed if you do not want to use the update function integrated into Spybot-S&D.

To update the Tools.dll and advcheck.dll files:

• Download both items above to the flash drive.
• Execute spybotsd_tools.exe on the non-internet connected system (to update the Tools.dll)
• Execute spybotsd_advcheck.exe on the non-internet connected system (to update the advcheck.dll)
