Different computers-different blocked threats

Gentlemen, quick question I have Spybot installed on my work and home computers. At work immunization shows 18,333 blocked threats. At home it shows about 14,000 blocked threats. One is laptop one is desktop and the only difference is XP Home and one is XP Pro. Is this a common occurance?
