Download Updates Prior to Running Scheduler

I have just installed SpyBot and setup the scheduler to run during the night. I would like to know how I can configure SpyBot to automatically download the latest updates prior to running the SpyBot Scheduler.

After opening Spybot,going to Mode,then Advanced Mode,Settings,then Scheduler,you should see an Add(Updater) button,which you could use to schedule an automatic update before Spybot is scheduled to run it's scan in the night.

Thank you for the solution to the problem. I did not know that the updater had to be initiated as a separate process in the Scheduler module. I have added the new Scheduler task to my nightly routine.

I wonder what the logic was behind not including a check box in the Schedule module that simply says "Check for updates before running Spybot?".
