Error - "First install Detection-Updates ..."

Though having done a complete new installation of spybot s&D 1.5.2, when starting "Check" ("Überprüfen") , an error occurs "You first have to install the detection updates ...".

I separately downloaded spybot_includes.exe (lates version) and run this, but the error still occurs.

What is wrong?

Before you run your first scan you need to install the detection updates first.

Just download and run that file - it is self-installing.

What exactly did you download, the manual detection update from the homepage?
The error you describe appears if you try to scan without downloading detection rules before. After downloading them you should usually be able to scan without problems. Have you installed the downloaded spybot_includes.exe?
