Error Installing Microsoft Office

When I try to install Microsoft Office I always get Error 1935 (can't access Windows registry). During the install S&D asks if I want to allow the registry to change and I always click allow, however, the install always fails. I tried closing TeaTimer.exe to see if that would help but it didn't. Any suggestions?

When I try to install Microsoft Office I always get Error 1935 (can't access Windows registry).

• Operating system.
• Version of Microsoft Office.
• At which point of the installation do you receive the error message.

You may be experiencing a problem involving Microsoft .NET Framework. Please see KB 926804 for Office 2007 or KB 927813 for Office 2003.

During any install, especially one as big as Office, it is best to close as many programs as possible beforehand. Including any running in the background, such as teatimer.
