Error message not included in FAQs

Hi, I'm new to this forum but hope someone can help. I have had Spybot 1.4 for some time but downloaded 1.6 when prompted to do so. Since then I cannot access Spybot at all. Message comes up 'sqlite3.dll was not found. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.' (It doesn't!) Any suggestions, please?

Have you tried....

the complete removal procedure found here?

Then download and install the latest version after completing all steps above and a system restart.

See if that solves the problem

Hi there!

Many thanks for trying to help me. Having uninstalled and downloaded the small fix (I think!), am now trying to download Spybot 1.6. However, on the website, there are all sorts of downloads but none of them seem to be Spybot 1.6. :sad: Where am I going wrong? I'm sorry to be so useless but I'm a senior citizen and not very good at all this techie stuff!

Any button you click download will work. If you prefer, under Hosted by Safer-Networking, click the first download button you see. There all the same
