Error on updates

When I goto search for updates in spybot 1.4 I see all the updates avaiable.
When I goto download the Updates I get the Error msg "Unable to open AVI"



Anyone no how to fix this???? I have unistalled and reinstalled. I have restarted. I can update through the website. I want to use the auto update though.

I have used spybot for years with no problems. Can any1 help!!

Thank you for the quick responce!!


I am using a version of XP with SP3(yes SP3(made by a user named AMIT). An Unattended install with some Vista stuff in it and great driver support.


I have no place to configure vista video options @ install as suggested in that article you posted. I bet thats the problem but I have no idea how to fix it!!
