Extra IExplore.exe process in background: TeaTimer or malware?

Whenever I first doubleclick my Internet Explorer icon, the program itself does not appear, but a background IExplore.exe process starts to run. When I doubleclick the icon a second time, the program appears.

This seems like a malware use of the background process, but it also seemed to start happening after I installed Tea Timer. Is Tea Timer running a background IExplore.exe process?

Running Spy Bot, by the way, does not get rid of this problem.

What version of Spybot are you running? The Latest is 1.6.0.30

What Version of Windows are you using?

What Anti-Virus Program are you using?

What Firewall are you using?

I'm running Windows XP, 2002, Service Pack 1 (yes, I know, I need to upgrade)

I'm running the Norton Personal Firewall

I am not currently running anti-virus software.

So Tea Timer does not run a background process for Internet Explorer?

Not having an Anti-Virus program is suicide:nono: especially in this day and age so please use one and install Service Pack 3 at once.

You still haven't said what version of Spybot your using.

Pleas read this FAQ on what the tea timer is and how it works.
