"Firewall"

Does the firewall works exactly as a normal firewall? Like for example the firewall Online Armor has? Or is it an additional firewall?

One more thing.. One thing might confuse a lot of users. It stands "Antivirus & antispyware on". Spybot isn't an anti-virus software.

Patrick discussed about integrating F-Secure Virus Database and ClamAV database, but due to license issues, it might be only for commercial use, and GPL on ClamAV might cause violations too. It might be like just compatibility reasons too.

I have some more questions. After a scan is completed, a lot of registry changes, and keys appears. What happens if you fix them? Will you delete them, or restore them? And what about the cookies? Deleting cookies, cache and history, will it act like CCleaner? Like cleaning your browser and make it all clean again, without any cookies, etc?

Registry changes will be restored, Registry keys will be removed, Cookies will be removed almost like CCleaner, same for other stuff you mentioned.

I don't know... Spybot by itself is 32bit for now.... So I guess it should work for 64-bit...

I discovered something. I don't know if it's supposed to be like this or not.

I accidentally clicked on the right hand side of the "Experienced User Mode". It was quite far away from the little box where I can disable or enable experienced mode. However, I could still enable and disable the experienced mode. Is it supposed to be like this?

The form by itself is stretched faaar there. Though, I think that modes will be configured differently, not like that way.

And two more questions..

Why does the "Cleaner" window allways appear upon startup? And when I try to minimize it (clicking on the " _ " button), it won't minimize itself to the toolbar, it will only appear in a very, very, very small window down-left on the screen.

Hello,

Which cleaner window do you mean?
And which cmd messages/error exactly?
Anything like command.com?

Best regards

An empty Spybot cleaning window appear upon system startup. It's the window that shows us what Spybot has detected after a full scan, the only difference is that it is clean(no detected items). It should be said it's after Windows 7 is loaded.

I have no idea of which cmd error it is. It's like 30 errors just popping up on the screen after Windows have loaded. I don't know if it's related to Spybot. I can try to reinstall it, and see if there are any differences. I could make a short video of just showing you it if it's happening after I reinstall. You will see a lot of cmd windows popping up, and the Spybot cleaning window.

Edit: The cmd windows doesn't last long. They disappear quickly. And they're all black.

Yeah, it's command.com then. I think that usual removal by using command.com should be removed. People keep getting a lot of complaints about getting those windows every time. Isn't SDDelFile module supposed to delete them?
