Forum is not accepting new password/e-mail.

I logged in and tried to change my password and update my e-mail address. I got a message that said that the e-mail address was already in use and asked if I forgot my password. I can still log in with my old password but not with my new one.

Have you tried emptying cache, deleting cookies and closing the browser before trying to login with new credentials?
