Please help ... ran spybot s&d which was great but came across these 2 that it freezes on when it trys to remove them.

fraud.windowsprotectionsuite

and

microsoft.window.redirectedhosts.

Hello Ian101,

Please see the forum FAQ which also includes instructions on posting a preliminary DDS log: "BEFORE you POST"(READ this Procedure BEFORE Requesting Assistance)

Also,

If Spybot-S&D has detected items it cannot remove and you have the latest version and detections, please produce a short log showing only the items flagged.

• Open SpyBot.
• Check for problems.
• When the scan completes, right click on the results list, select "Copy results to clipboard".
• Paste (Ctrl+V) those results into your new topic, along with your DDS.txt log.

Then start a new topic and a volunteer analyst will advise you when available.
