Unable to remove because cannot access and write file to c:/windows/system32/drivers/etc/hosts. Have googled but no success. This virus redirects searches. Anyone have success getting rid of this. I also tried in safe mode and got same result.

Then start a new topic and a volunteer analyst will advise you when available.
