On the commercial side I recommend CuteFTP http://www.cuteftp.com/products/ftp_clients.aspx either Home or Pro. CuteFTP do offer a 30 day free trial so you can test it before spending any money. And on the free side FileZilla http://filezilla-project.org seems to get good reviews.
