Hallmark Greeting Card

Just received an email with an attached exe that I am sure is some sort of malware.

It is disguised as a hallmark greeting card:

Hello!

You have recieved a Hallmark E-Card.

To see it, click Removed

There's something special about that E-Card feeling. We invite you to make a friend's day and Removed

Hope to see you soon,
Your friends at Hallmark

Anyway, this malware dumps your address book and corrupts your hard drive, it is not detected by sophos yet so I assume it is relatively new. Just wanted to let the team here at Spybot know.

-Im not sure if this is the right forum though as it has not infected my personal computer

Hello.

Unfortunately these are common exploits sent via email, and changing frequently.

Anti virus programs update several times daily in order to keep on top of it, but as you know, the best plan is never to open these kind of email attachments at all.

Infected files can be zipped and sent to: detections(AT)spybot.info (Replace AT with @)

Cheers.
