I am a big supporter of Spybot and many other malware removal tools. I do have a bit of computer background myself. However, my field of specialty lies outside of removing viruses and I have a major issue right now so please reply as soon as you can.
Issue: Just recently, I have been experiencing hard drive space drainage. Even as I type right now, I am losing about one megabyte every 1 to 3 seconds (every once in a while it might spike, causing me to lose several megabytes). I barely just noticed this problem, the drainage being so little, so it is highly possible that this could have started a long time ago.
This computer is new, WM XP 2006 Edition. My C:\ drive is approximately 120 GB and is at this moment about 5.8 GB (it was 7GB some hours ago). I suspect this is caused by undetected malware. Spybot removed a handful of spyware, but none of which are causing the problem.
I do have a W32.IRCbot that keeps "reproducing" every time it is deleted. However, that might or might not be related (if not related, then this is not important. Right now I am only concerned with saving my hard drive space from dropping to a dangerous level in which I can't save any information).
I can always reside to external drives and delete old files (the reason I got a large hard drive was to store large sums of information relative to my work). But it is always nagging and hard to concentrate when my mind keeps thinking that my hard drive is still draining.
Here is my latest Hijack This scan. No other programs beside Hijack This were running. I do have quite some suspicions about processes running in the background, eating away at my CPU.
And if it helps to know, my IE 7 does not work at all, and my McAfee I have disabled in replacement of alternate antivirus systems.
Background programs that were running during the scan which I do NOT suspect are causing the problem are because they were either installed after the problem was detected or for some othe reason are not suspicious:
1. TopDesk
2. StyleXP
Hide IP Plat. was probably running and since it was installed before this problem was detected, I cannot guarantee it to be completely non-problem causing.
Please let me know if more information is required and a system restore or system recovery is not an option at this time.

Background programs that were running during the scan which I do NOT suspect are causing the problem are because they were either installed after the problem was detected or for some othe reason are not suspicious:
1. TopDesk
2. StyleXP
Hide IP Plat. was probably running and since it was installed before this problem was detected, I cannot guarantee it to be completely non-problem causing.
Please let me know if more information is required and a system restore or system recovery is not an option at this time.
