Hellzlittle spy question

I was using 1.32 version of Spybot S&D and ran it today It found the hellzlittle spy and I chose fix problem. the out of curiousity I googled it and learned about the problem with spybot
I have not shut down my computer yet! thank God!
I did go into regedit and put in the line Userinit=c:\windows\system32\userinit.exe, and upgraded spybot to version 1.52 I did not reboot yet, nor will I do it until assured it's ok.
Help! what do I do now? am I ok???

If that is a Windows XP system.

And the entry is looks like this in a registry export:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon]
"Userinit"="C:\\WINDOWS\\system32\\userinit.exe,"

Or like this in Registry Editor:

Userinit REG_SZ C:\WINDOWS\system32\userinit.exe,

Where:

• Name: Userinit
• Type: REG_SZ
• Data: C:\WINDOWS\system32\userinit.exe,

And your boot drive is C.

Then you should be ok.
