Help I am so new to all this antivirus and spybot stuff

Hi there I joined up today because I have got an I-dialer on my PC...dont know how it got there all I now is I want it removed asap.

I would like to know firstly if Spybot is compatable with Avast anitvirus and if not which of the better antivirus's is it compatable so I can download them and get rid of Avast.

Secondly (this is the duh question) which Spybot programme do I download first and what after that and so on.

I would greatly appreciate any help anyone is willing to provide.

I know of no compatibility issues with Avast and Spybot-S&D.
