New Bug Help Please - Scan Freezes at 49804B54

I am using Windows 10. When I attempt a full system virus and malware scan, the scan gets stuck at 50% completed while trying to scan for 49804B54. The scan results show no problem but I can't complete the scan because it can't get past 49804B54. Multiple tries but the same thing happens. Is there a way to fix this? Thanks.

We have tried replicating the issue and found no problems with the mentioned Scan ID, which led to a couple of questions:
  • Could there be inconsistencies, e.g. using your own SBIs?
  • Are your versions of Spybot - Search & Destroy updated?
In any case, re-installing could also solve the problem.

You can try deactivating the scanning for usage tracks and Cookies and then perform a new scan (untick the checkboxes for 'tracks.sbi', 'tracks.uti' and 'cookies.sbi' that you find in the "Categories" tab in Settings).
