Help please !!!!!!!!

I am having a problem with the computer Clock.

My computer clock is reading the time as january 2003 and i am not able to change it.

I manage to change in the BIOS set up and it remains for that session and then goes back to January 2003 after a reboot.

Then i then reloaded the OS completely but even then the problem persist.

Everybody says it is a Virus ..But how can i remove can somebody explain step by step please....

What OS are you running?
Can you at least sync the time with time.windows.com in the Internet Time section?
 
How much is your computer old?
One of possible cause is the battery. Old computers have dead batteries and they cause CMOS to not work and reset time 00:00 and date at 01.01., but I don't know about year. It could be any possible year.
