help required if i need to uninstall spybot

I have installed spybot 1.62 but do i need to uninstall this version?? i hhave downloaded spybot SD 2.0.i can't find any answer on this subject..or can i install it over the older version without any conflicts or problems.thanks for any help with this post :confused::confused:

The Installer of the 2.0 will ask you, if you want to uninstall the 1.6.2 and if you say yes, he will uninstall it for you but you also can say no and keep the 1.6.2 next to the 2.0. Both Version can run next to each other without problems usually. I too have both installed and did'nt notice any problems.
 
You ought to uninstall Spybot 1.6.2 from add/remove programs before installing 2.0.
I believe the installer for Spybot 2.0 will prompt you to remove Spybot 1.6.2 during the install anyway,if I remember that correctly. :)
