Help! Spybot won't run

Hello~

I run my Spybot usually once a week or so, along with the Adaware program.

For some reason this morning, when I try to open either of them, they open real quick and then the window shuts down.

Any suggestions?

I've tried to find a solution to this problem on the forum and can't find it.

This is a long shot but there is a variant of CWS.Smartsearch that can kill CWShredder, HijackThis, Spybot S&D and Ad-Aware as well as several anti-spyware sites when they are opened. I don't know if this is your problem but you could try to download and execute that program. See:

Other than that the only suggestion I can offer is to consider posting in the Malware Removal forum and have one of the volunteers familiar with malware removal take a look at your system. To do that, follow the instructions here:
