D drragostea New member Alpha Testers Nov 9, 2008 #2 Er, to tell you honestly, once a file is permanently deleted using a shredder tool, it is gone forever. If you were to remove it to the Recycle Bin, it's fine is still stored in a registry key and is hidden in a hidden partition of your drive. In your situation, it is almost impossible. Was that file important?

I thought you used a shredder tool. Well, if in that case, if you just clicked the "Delete" button on the keyboard, you recover it from the Recycle Bin. Unless, you have emptied the Recycle Bin, you'll have to download a recovery software. Recuva by Piriform to name one.
