slowcomputer!
New member
Hi, I also have the Virtumonde infection and would appreciate any help you could provide. I ran Spybot S&D and initially had Virtumonde, Virtumonde.generic, and Smitfraud. My computer was getting several popups asking me to install Antivirus 2009 and not allowing me to close the window. The internet was running incredibly slow.
I have read several posts and booted my computer in safe mode, then ran ATF cleaner and Malwarebyte’s Anti-Malware. After that, I rebooted and also ran Spybot S&D in safe mode and then Malwarebytes anti-malware again. Now, my computer is running fast again like normal, but usually there are other registry keys that need to still be deleted.
**One more thing – I was infected with the Kooba spyware/malware and I am not sure if that is also still on my computer (if you can help me with this too, it would be GREATLY appreciated because I think that is responsible for a fraudulent credit card transaction). What information can virtumonde, smitfraud, vundo, and kooba access and what passwords do I need to change?
I have included my latest spybot log file, my malwarebytes log file, and my hijackthis logfile. Please let me know if you need any further information and many, many thanks in advance for any assistance you could provide!
