1. How many computers besides the one we are working on and your sons hook up to the router to access the internet ?

2. Are these computers networked, what I mean by this is can you access one of the other computers from your own. Just because you have a few computers hooked up to your router does not mean there networked, they just all access the internet through your router, can these computers see each other, for example can you go on your sons computer and access files and such on your computer ?

Hi Ken,
There are only the two computers, and there is an external hard drive that we share and store music on, and I do connect via my iPhone - that is it.

I have never set up these computers to be networked.

Donna,

Your logs are fine and I am going to break protocol and have you do this. You do not want to have your sons computer go online just yet so download these programs to your own computer and transfer them by CD ( not a usb flash or thumb drive ) to your sons computer. Its going to be difficult at first until we determine its safe for your sons computer to go back online, the reports from the scans will also have to be copied to a CD and transfered back to your computer so you can post them.

When you post back make note that this is your sons computer, do not post anymore logs or scans from your own as it could get complicated and we won't be able to continue
