I would like to add a web site by myself to the Spybot host file. I locate the file but cant modify it.

Is it possible ?

How can I do that ?

You'll have to disable Spybot-Search&Destroy's HOSTS read only protection:
Advanced Mode>Tools>IE Tweaks

Untick the first option and you can retick it after your done.

Run:

%SystemRoot%\system32\drivers\etc\

There you'll see the Windows HOSTS file.
Just be sure to add your site after the "#" signs. Insert it where the 127.0.0.1 (site) is. Like in that area.
