hosts e imunizzation system. help me!

hello world
I have the following problem
Starting with the imunizzation of spybot (latest version operating system windows xp professional) imunizzaation not the whole computer.
(known by the disparity of files on the PC and those protected)
What can result from this thing?

I use the browser as
ie and firefox but works with the new version so that imunizza work well.
in addition I have WinPatrol,
that it controls the computer's hosts as spybot

advice on what is best to check the hosts computer WinPatrol or spybot?
if I do check both risk conflicts?

how many files can't be immunized by Spybot?

Where are theese files located? In IE, Firefox oder global host?

I would like you to read this thread and this one.

Which other security tools do you use?

Please dis-able theese tools before Spybot immunize your computer.

As far as I know, you can use both. :)

Ad-Aware could also make trouble (relating to error 5) beside Spybot.
 
no no the error 5 from me win patrol when it is active for the control hosts.
advice. hosts for the control is more 'effective WinPatrol or spybot?

Sorry for misunderstanding. ;)

But I can not tell you, whether Spybot or WinPatrol is more effective in protecting host files. Choose the one you like more.

Or what do you want to hear from me? :laugh:

dis-able all other security tools before you start the immunization with Spybot.

Moreover, please dis-able immunization of Spybot and en-able it again. Perhaps this could help you.
 
already proved does not change. but it appears from the whole system being protected or not?

give me advice on what is best spybot and WinPatrol? ;)
 
I don't remember if the problem with Opera's Immunization still exists. Either an update for Opera broke the Immunization or Spybot.

Both Spybot and WinPatrol offer options to protect the HOSTS file. No one is "better" because they are both very similar.
 
well but if you want not to be active both in conflict?
for immunization of work updating spybot should do so.
What can I do?
