Which version of Spybot please, the free version or Spybot with AV?

Also, why do you wish to keep infected files, Win32/Jeefo is an old parasitic file-infector.

Did you have any security programs installed on the system before you found the infection?

Best regards.

hi..
i didn't have any security program before cause i use this machine only for music production work and don't use internet etc from it.

i use the spybot free edition.i want to keep some files cause they are .exe files.(some installers, unistallers ... iam afraid that some programs won't start after cleaning-deleting them._)
so..is ity any way just to clean them without deleting them?

I cannot say with certainty, there isn't enough information to know how and when the issue started or the extent of any infection.

"Win32/Jeefo is an old parasitic file-infector."

A volunteer analyst might be able take a look at the system however I really need to ask again... what is your operating system please.

It is also possible the cloud antivirus threw a false positive.

You could upload the files to shed some light on that.

Hello musictech,

You could start a new topic in the Malware Removal Forum

If you choose to do so please see that forum's FAQ which includes instructions in post #2 on how to provide the logs from Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and aswMBR, which are the logs used in the preliminary analysis.

http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=288

Please provide a link to this thread and post your concerns in your new topic.

This is before you run any tools that are used to remove infections. Please remember that part in case you are given a "fix" because we cannot take responsibility if an infection is removed. Removing malware is the reason users post in that forum. ;-)

From the FAQ:
"While best efforts are made to assist in removing infections safely, unexpected stuff can happen. It is advisable that you back up your important data before starting any clean up procedure. Neither Safer Networking Forums nor the Analyst providing the advice may be held responsible for any loss."

Best regards.
