How do I know if I activated spybot right?

Help!!! I'm not sure if I activated my spybot correctly because I never found the place where I had to put my activation code in.....but my computer did everything else I think....what can I do

There is no "activation code" for Spybot and it does not have to be registered. Spybot is free for non-corporate users.

I assume that when you installed Spybot:

• You used the installation program spybotsd152.exe downloaded from one of the mirror sites listed here:
  • Mirror selection - The home of Spybot-S&D!
    http://www.spybot.info/en/mirrors/index.html
• By default the installation was done in the following directory:
  • C:\Program Files\Spybot - Search & Destroy
• When you start Spybot you are running program SpybotSD.exe.
